Pearls should be stored separately from other jewelry. Store them wrapped in a soft cloth or in a soft-lined container, pouch, or jewelry box, but not in an airtight container because the pearls need to "breathe". The best advice is to wear your pearls as often as possible - the body's natural oils keep pearls lustrous. We all like to look super glam at the pool or while splashing around at the beach, but even though pearls 'come from the sea', they're not really good in water.
